FAQs

About American Airlines Center
Deep in the heart of Texas lies American Airlines Center, one of the nation’s top arenas. Since opening its doors in 2001, American Airlines Center has been setting the precedent for sporting and live entertainment events. Housing both the NBA Dallas Mavericks and the NHL Dallas Stars, the American Airlines Center displays its unique versatility with its retractable seating transforming from a 20,000 seat basketball arena. American Airlines Center consistently ranks as one of the busiest arenas in the world.
Why is this game moving from College Park Center to American Airlines Center?
Due to the unprecedented demand for this game, the Wings worked with the WNBA League office, the City of Arlington, and the City of Dallas to be able to relocate this game to a larger arena to provide more people the opportunity to see this game in person.
Will other games be moving as well?
At this time we have not announced any additional game relocations. That said, we continue to monitor the demand for our games.
What is the Official Ticketing platform for this game?
Ticketmaster is the official ticketing platform for the American Airlines Center and the August 1, 2025 game vs Indiana Fever. All tickets will be available through the Ticketmaster or American Airlines Center (AAC) App.
What do I need to know about American Airlines Center?
We recommend reviewing the American Airlines Center policies page, available at https://www.americanairlinescenter.com/plan-your-visit/arena-faq, before your visit to the venue. Some policies may be different than those in place at College Park Center.
I bought a ticket for the game at College Park Center. Does my ticket automatically transfer to the American Airlines Center?
If you purchased directly from the Wings box office (such as through Wings season tickets, or Wings group sales through a Wings Sales Representative) your tickets have been automatically relocated to American Airlines Center with no cancellation or refund, and no further action needed on your part. Your tickets are in your account.
If you purchased Group Tickets, your tickets have been relocated to American Airlines Center with no cancellation or refund, and no further action needed on your part. Contact your Wings Group Sales rep for any additional questions.
If you purchased through AXS, either directly from dallaswings.com, or on the AXS Marketplace, your purchase was cancelled and refunded. You will need to purchase new tickets to American Airlines Center through Ticketmaster.
If you purchased through a third-party such as StubHub, Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster, etc, your ticket does not automatically transfer. The original purchaser of that ticket, who purchased directly from the Wings via AXS, has had their original ticket cancelled. That offer to re-purchase/re-locate will not automatically go to you if you purchased on a third-party marketplace such as StubHub or VividSeats.
You will need to contact the third-party marketplace to discuss your options. The Wings are not responsible for ticket sales through third-party platforms, and do not determine the terms and conditions of any sale through a third-party platform, including whether you will be entitled to re-purchase tickets re-issued to the seller you purchased from.
Purchasing tickets through any source other than the Wings or our official ticketing partner, AXS, is not recommended, and the buyer assumes all risk when purchasing from an unauthorized seller. The Dallas Wings are not responsible for invalid or counterfeit tickets purchased through non-authorized sellers.
What if I just want a refund for my original College Park Center ticket?
All individual tickets for the original August 1, 2025 game at College Park Center will be cancelled, and refunds have been issued.
Do Season Ticket Members get a discount on additional tickets?
Unfortunately, Members do not receive any discounts on additional ticket purchases for this game.
Why is there a limit to the number of tickets I can purchase?
The Wings want to ensure that as many fans as possible are able to attend the game. As a result, tickets are limited to eight (8) at the time of purchase. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for a group (10+), please contact tickets@dallaswings.com.
Are suites available for purchase for this game?
A limited number of American Airlines Center Suites are available to rent for this game. Please contact the AAC sales team at suites@americanairlinescenter.com to assist you.
What is a Verified Resale Ticket?
Verified Resale Tickets are tickets sold by fans and authenticated by Ticketmaster, giving you the ability to go to events you thought were sold out – while providing peace of mind that the tickets have been 100% verified by Ticketmaster.
How can I tell if my ticket is valid?
Official Wings tickets are 100% digital and are powered by unique barcodes that refresh every 15 seconds to help prevent theft or copies, keeping your tickets safe and secure. (Screenshots or static tickets are not valid for entry.). Once a ticket has been transferred or sold, a new barcode is generated, and all previous copies of that ticket are no longer valid.
How do you protect yourself against ticket scammers?
Our partners at Ticketmaster offer the following advice to help protect yourself during the buying process:
- Always double-check your URL. When buying tickets, make sure you’re visiting ticketmaster.com, or are using the official Ticketmaster mobile app. Furthermore, beware of clicking through to sites from Google search results that may look like Ticketmaster — always make sure you’re purchasing tickets from Ticketmaster’s official website.
- Be careful when buying from individuals on social media or other unofficial platforms. If you choose to purchase tickets from individual sellers, social media, third-party online exchanges, auction sites or bulletin boards, use extreme caution.
- Finally, be wary of printed tickets, as scammers can distribute copies of the same ticket to multiple buyers. The Dallas Wings are a 100% digital ticketing team and we do not issue paper tickets. Dallas Wings digital tickets are also powered by unique barcodes that refresh every 15 seconds to help prevent theft or copies, keeping your tickets safe and secure. Screenshots or static tickets are not valid for entry.
What happens if I have an invalid ticket?
All tickets are scanned before entrance to American Airlines Center to verify their validity. Invalid, duplicate and counterfeit tickets will not grant entrance into the Arena. If any of these tickets are discovered once inside of the facility, the ticket holder will be escorted from the Arena by event staff or law enforcement personnel.
American Airlines Center does not accept the picture of a ticket for valid entry into our events. Individuals attempting to use the picture of a ticket will be rejected at the gate and will not be allowed entrance into the venue.
I have access to the Courtside Club or Suite at CPC. Where do I access these amenities at AAC?
All premium members will have access to both the Patron Tequileria and Angel's Envy Bourbon Club. Buffet style meal, beer, wine, soda and water is complimentary. Cash bar is available for liquor. These areas will open at 5 pm and close at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. We encourage you to come early to use these amenities before the game!
